PhD Student Position – Brain Aging and Lymphatic Vascular Research Department of Plastic Surgery, University Hospital Zurich (USZ)
Project Overview
Emerging evidence suggests that the lymphatic vascular system plays a critical role in neurophysiology and neurodegeneration. This interdisciplinary project aims to unravel how age-related changes in lymphatic function influence brain health, cognition, and the development of neurological disorders. By combining state-of-the-art techniques in molecular biology, neuroimaging, and vascular biology, we aim to uncover fundamental mechanisms that may inform new therapeutic strategies.
